A single malt featuring a fresh aroma like pear and green apple, along with a subtle sweetness. Light and smooth with no harshness, it is also recommended for beginners.

Nurtured by the "Valley of the Deer," the world's most loved single malt

Glenfiddich means "Valley of the Deer" in Gaelic. Built in 1887 by founder William Grant, who piled up stones with his family by his own hands, this distillery became the world's first to begin overseas exports as a "single malt whisky" in 1963, serving as a great pioneer that laid the foundations of today's single malt market.

Consistently using the pure water of the "Robbie Dhu spring" from brewing to bottling, it marries base whiskies aged in American oak casks and European oak casks (Oloroso sherry casks). When poured into a glass, fresh and fruity aromas reminiscent of pear and green apple spread out, while subtle oak nuances and an elegant sweetness leave a pleasant lingering finish.

At "bar83rd," a hidden-away bar on the top floor of a building in Kannai, Yokohama, we offer a selection of over 120 whiskies carefully curated by the owner, including this Glenfiddich. Spend a special night pondering the history of whisky on the terrace overlooking the night view or in spacious sofa seating.
