A richer, more mellow flavor created by aged reserve whiskies, where oak aromas and pleasant spiciness create a deep, sophisticated experience.
A rich and spicy Japan-exclusive bottle woven from two mash bills and five yeasts
Four Roses boasts a devoted following among bourbon fans. Among them, "Four Roses Black" is a premium label sold exclusively for the Japanese market.
The defining characteristic of the Four Roses Distillery is its creation of ten distinct unblended whiskies by combining two types of mash bills (grain recipes) and five proprietary yeasts. For Black, the master distiller expertly blends these longer-aged unblended whiskies, achieving a rich flavor that combines fruity aromas reminiscent of pear and plum with a pleasant spiciness derived from oak barrels.
In the days when it was said that "dashing men drink bourbon," this was a standard bottle that many people eagerly sipped, and it holds memories of the owner's youth as well. Enjoy it stylishly on the rocks, or light and lively with soda, and savor it slowly while reminiscing about the memories of those times.
Perched on the top floor of a building in Bashamichi, Yokohama, "bar83rd" is a hideaway bar stocked with over 120 types of bourbon whiskey filled with the owner's passion. Why not raise a glass on the terrace with a view of the night skyline, accompanied by that nostalgic taste of yesteryear? We sincerely look forward to your visit.
