Through the rare production method of using unblended whisky aged in new French oak casks, spicy and smoky flavors are powerfully added to Ardbeg's characteristic intense peat and iodine aromas. On the palate, following a peppery kick, deep richness and sweetness reminiscent of espresso and dark chocolate surge like a whirlpool, leaving a wild yet complex, lingering finish.
